The Ranting Raven also offers writing services. These are not traditional ghostwriting services. Genres are narrowed to those where I think I can be most helpful.

Scene Planning
Rate: $150
Time estimate: 2-4 days
Genres accepted: fantasy, horror, romance, historical fiction, mystery / suspense / thriller

Need detailed plot beats or step-by step layouts of a fight scene? Worried about the big romantic breakup moment? I can give you the building blocks to make a scene exciting and memorable.
This service includes:
· a detailed breakdown of the progression of a scene
· suggestions on the balance of dialogue and description, pacing, and transitions into / out of the scene
· analysis of how and where it affects each character arc and the overall story arc
Plug the Plot Hole
Rate: $150 plus 0.10 / word, cap at $650 (5k words)
Time estimate: 5+ days

Stuck in writer’s block? Don’t like the way a scene is going? I am here to help! I will read your outline, manuscript, and other relevant materials you provide and try to rescue you from plot hole panic. I will ghostwrite or rewrite a small section of your book that’s bothering you, up to 5,000 words if necessary.
This service includes:
· up to 5,000 words of ghostwritten content
· suggestions on how to transition out of the end of the scene or continue it
· analysis of what I thought wasn’t working, what I added, and why I added what I did
A New Beginning
Rate: $500
Time Estimate: 5 days
Genres accepted: fantasy, horror, romance, historical fiction

Maybe you’re not confident about your intro hook. Maybe you’re unsure about the sustainability of the plot tension. Whatever the reason, you’d like to see how someone else would start your book. You provide character details and the relevant portions of an outline and I either write detailed story beats for that section or write the first 1,000 words. You are welcome to keep and use them as ghostwritten content if you wish.
This service includes:
· 1,000 words of ghostwritten content to begin your story
· suggestions on the immediate continuation of the scene and how it fits into the story arc
